Do I need a special license to drive in Chile and Argentina?
A valid standard driver's license from your home country (EU, UK, US, etc.) is legally sufficient. However, for a stress-free journey through border crossings and local checkpoints, we highly recommend carrying an International Driving Permit (IDP).
Is wild camping safe and permitted in the region?
Wild camping is one of the most rewarding ways to experience Patagonia. It is generally safe and encouraged in many open areas. We provide every guest with a digital map of curated, safe, and stunning spots to park for the night.
Booking & Payment
How do I secure my booking?
You can book directly through our online portal. We require a 20% deposit to confirm your reservation, with the final balance payable 30 days before your departure. All bookings are confirmed instantly via email.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major European credit and debit cards, SEPA bank transfers, and PayPal. All transactions are securely processed in Euros or USD to ensure transparency for our international guests.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a refundable security deposit is held on your credit card at pick-up. This amount depends on your chosen insurance level and is released within 7 days of returning the van in its original condition.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens. Cancel up to 30 days before pick-up for a full refund (minus a small fee). For cancellations within 30 days, we offer flexible rescheduling or a credit note valid for 24 months.

Is heating included for cold nights?
Yes, all our vans are equipped with integrated auxiliary heating systems that run independently of the engine, ensuring a warm, reassuring sanctuary 24/7, even during the coldest southern nights.

Terms & Conditions
What documents are required for the rental?
European travelers need a valid passport, a national driver's license (held for at least 2 years), and a credit card for the security deposit. We'll handle the local permit filing.
What are the age requirements for drivers?
The standard minimum age is 25. Drivers aged 21 to 24 are welcome to rent with a young driver supplement and an upgraded insurance package for peace of mind.
Can I cross the border into Argentina?
Yes, border crossings are permitted with a notarized permit. We prepare this in advance for a small administrative fee. Please notify us at least 10 days before your arrival.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
We offer full refunds for cancellations made at least 30 days before pickup. For shorter notice, we provide flexible rescheduling vouchers valid for 18 months.
